About Me

I was born in Cosenza, nice city in the north of Calabria, (the southest region of continental Italy).

I lived in Bologna from June 2014, when I found a job after the end of University until Nov 2018. Then I decided to move to Southampton (UK). Among Bologna and Southampton I took a break of 6 weeks travelling in Patagonia and California!

Along my studies I spent 16 months abroad, in Belgium! I studied in Leuven as Erasmus student for a year and then I moved to Antwerp to do an internship. My life has not been the same anymore after my experience abroad!

I have started to travel around Europe and making friends from all the corners of the world that changed the way how I see the life!

Apart travelling, I love collecting coins, old books and maps, and all the kind of stuff that you can find in a flea market and moreover, during my Erasmus I fall in love with an old green bikes that has been with me since August 2012 :D

I am a nice, solar and open minded person who loves to know new people and different cultures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a wonderful way to create connections among people that have a similar vision of the life.

I like the "Couchsurfing spirit" both for travelling and for everyday life!

However Hospitality is a great thing, both for guests and for hosts!

FOR GUESTS:

We provide a sofà and sheets if you don’t have a sleeping bag, but please consider to bring some food to have a dinner all together and leave a footprint in our house (bring a postcard or don't forget to send a postcard from somewhere if you are travelling, bring a coin, a stamp, whatever that will remain here as a foorprint) ;)

It is CS experience not hosteling, so “sharing is caring” from both sides :)

Interests

Moving to Belgium teached me how lucky are the people that live in a sunny place... so as soon as the sun shines I go outside in the closest park to enjoy the sun reading a book or just listening the wind through the trees!

Moreover, I love also biking, trekking and camping!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Leaving my home town to start my Eramsus

- First stamp on Passport (Morocco)

- Biking in the snow with -17°C

- Gazing at the stars in the Sahara desert, Atacama desert and Death Valley

- See the sunrise in front of Himalayan peaks and among Chilenian fyords

- Sleeping in the Nature and make a fire in Scottish Highlands in January.

- Start the Camino di Santiago, crossing the Pyrenees and border of France-Spain on foot!

- Wandered along Carretera Austral and crossed the border from Chile to Argentina on foot

- Camped in Patagonia and Tierra del fuego
