Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I'm not travelling and surfing couches I can host you if I'm not too busy or else show you around...

Uruguayans love meeting people from abroad and showing everyone their culture and customs... We are small and humble but also very proud of our culture, as everyone should be!!

I have hosted a few people in Montevideo and I have shown them around the city... Some of them proved to have a great CSer attitude (those who do will know what I'm talking about) and some others not so much but anyway...

I've always had nice experiences and have met very interesting people and I still keep in touch with some of them...

In my opinion, the best time to visit Montevideo is the end of Summer, Autumn and Spring... February, March, April, May, September, October, November and beginning of December.... During the Summer if you come to Uruguay you have to visit places on the East Coast.... any place is good and the most famous might not be the best..... From Atlántida to Barra del Chuy ther are great beaches... the best of the best is some places in Rocha such as Cabo Polonio, Valizas, La pedrera, La Paloma, etc...

ART of any sort... from graffitis to classical music... painting, dancing, cinema, literature, theatre...

Go to the gym sometimes... love swimming but I'm not doing it currently...

What I Can Share with Hosts

A nice place to sleep, the basic needs of a house, a warm welcome

I can show you around the city (used to work as a tour guide), take you out for dinner or a drink, depending on the season there may be good things to do... I can teach you Spanish, English or Italian, cook something typical (don't expect much more than some empanadas) or how to play the violin (very basic!)

I might be really busy with work and stuff... if too busy, I might not be able to host
