About Me
Wanderlust soul + runner soul
Mexican guy traveling in Asia (That is why I cannot host right now)
I usually travel by myself, but this time I am sharing the journey with my cousin Met (who happens to be my best friend as well). https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/metlg
I am an ultrarunner and six times marathon finisher.
I have found in running and traveling a way to live and enjoy my life to the fullest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As travelers we all know that there is a point of all trips where we can use some company and get to hear different experiences and different cultures from all over the world!
I am usually seen as a very strange person by people who doesn't understand my traveling soul (I grew up in a small mexican city and most of the people are complete strangers to this lifestyle), so it is very nice to get to know people that does not think that you are crazy because you quitted your job and refused to live a "traditional" life.
That is why I joined CS!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Vivir un año al servicio social de las comunidades más pobres de la Sierra de Durango, mi ciudad natal, sin ningún tipo de comunicación con mis seres queridos por plazos largos.
2. Correr 6 maratones y 1 ultramaratón (hasta ahora).
3. Renunciar a mi trabajo para viajar.
1. Lived one complete year, between HS and College, doing social service in the poorest communities of la Sierra of my hometown, Durango, Mex.
Without communication with my loved ones and many times with out the basic things, such as water, light, bathrooms and sometimes even without a place to stay the night.
2. Been a six times marathon finisher and one time ultramrathon finisher (until now).
3. Quitting my job to be able to travel.
