About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Being free to move as I wish, when I wish, where I wish – and living my life doing things that make me excited.
ABOUT ME
Well I'm a bit of a nerd. But a proud and cool nerd, if I may say myself :)
According to my friends I have a habit of taking small things and make an interesting conversation out of them. I suppose that's a good thing.
PHILOSOPHY
"Everything has a tendency to go for the best, but you have to take the opportunities that arise"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In my opinion CS is not something that is separate from the everyday life. To me CS is more of a statement, like "hey world, I want to really learn from other people, their culture, experiences and thoughts about things in life". That is something I try to live by more or less everyday.
Interests
Being an IT-geek I'm interested in everything related to that area.
Besides IT I have an interest in bicycles. Mostly as a means of transport in the city. How we use it and how we build our cities to accommodate it. I also like to fiddle about with simple repairs. The bicycle is a quite the invention. It is a zero-emissions means of transport that gives you a sense of freedom.
Currently I'm also into Lifestyle Design. Tim Ferriss and all that. Working on building up a business that is location independent so I can travel and work "on the road".

Music, Movies, and Books
Really liked MacGyver and Indiana Jones when I was younger :)
Actually don't watch that much tv but Friends and Simpsons are nice. Lately I've gotten addicted to "Sherlock" (the British TV show).
Movies....
I generally like romantic comedies. And adventures like National Treasure, The Da Vinci Code, etc.
Book...
Right now it's pretty nerdy. 4-hour work week by Tim Ferris, The Long Tail by Chris Andersson and Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kyosaki.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was in London (UK) a couple of years ago and on the flight back to Sweden there was a British family traveling to Sweden for the first time. We never talked, I just overheard their conversation sitting in the row behind them. This was pretty late in the year and it was definitely a white winter in Sweden.
When we landed and got of the plane and the kids saw all the snow and the white scenery their faces got that happy expression I only thought existed in Hollywood movies. That was pretty amazing to see!
Teach, Learn, Share
I think I'm pretty good at technical things in general. Beeing a software developer I know a lot about that area and the webb.
Repairing bicycles is something I know fairly well.
Can dance some medium level salsa.
I've been a personal tutor in math (a friends little sister) and been a stand-in teacher in Windows Server.
