CURRENT MISSION

My central passion is twofold learning: experience and academic.
Visceral experiences are so incredible - I try to give everything a go in a mindful manner to enjoy every last drop the event has to offer, from a late night chat with somebody about anything to a midday excursion into whatever nature has to offer.
On the other side I am a lover of academic thought: this includes a borderline obsession with mathematics, a desire to understand as much science as possible, and a drive to philosophise.

ABOUT ME

At the moment I am studying Mathematics in the Netherlands, but that only takes up a fraction of my time...

I find it difficult to talk about my myriad of interests; I've always found that whatever an activity is I can enjoy it because somewhere, out there, somebody else has - all we have to do is see what they saw.
I think in light of this I am an extremely easy going, laid back person. Whoever you are there is something we can enjoy together (:

But for the moment I will try to summarise what I currently spend time or want to spend time doing: socialising, studying, reading, sports, travelling, teaching and meditating

PHILOSOPHY

I could go on and on about my philisophy and the topic in general, but I think it will suffice to say that I love interacting with people and learning from them; the most memorable and moving experiences are those involving others - so I want as many of these as possible.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Great way to meet people, but also a lot of fun for everyone involved. The travellers get to meet people who know the place and can be taken to the most interesting parts with less faffing, whilst the hosts get to enjoy a few days doing a variety of things with total strangers - but by the end people always come away with memorable memories.

It's a lovely way to keep us all connected

Only recently got into reading, but oh how I love it!

Authors that I've really enjoyed so far include Aldous Huxley, George Orwell and Bertrand Russell. But I'm yet to read a lot of people I'm sure I will love

I've probably seen more than my fair share of movies, but a couple that come to mind are Arrival and Moonrise Kingdom. Incredible films.

I love all kinds of music, it depends on my mood or the setting really

Devizes to Westminster international canoe marathon (125 miles) was pretty life changing for me. It taught me a lot and developed my commitment to chase my dreams
