About Me

Hey everyone ! :)
I am Ertunç living in an amazing city, Munich. I am living in Munich for 2 years and because of my university I came here. I am studying master in management in Technical University of Munich, I am in my last year. For sure sports are really important for me in this world. We can talk about sports hours and hours. I am funny, sociable and adaptable guy. I went to different countries with different volunteer works and never have problem of adapting. Always had so much fun :D I love travelling and always have new dream places to discover. While I like politics and history, it also makes me interested in museums in where I am visitng. Because I can see the history of a nation in their museums and I like that. I like eating, trying new and traditional foods, and also beers :D I really like to taste as many as different beers :D I also like hanging out with friends going to pubs, going to clubs and dancing and enjoying the loud electronic music :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in here because I believe that everytime when you visit a country it should more than just seeing places.. It is meeting the culture and native people there. If you dont do that then it doesnt mean much. So the main reason that I wanna be in couchsurfing is to make more international friends, to meet different cultures more deep with living in them and not just visiting. For instance, I had to take my plane from Belgrade to come to Istanbul and It was an early flight. So I had to stay one night in Belgrade and I met amazing people there but one night wasn't enough. So summer of 2015, I went there and stay 2 months and meet with really amazing Serbian people and get to know amazing Serbian culture very deep. And that is what I like. Getting know people and the culture deep not just visiting places.. That is why I am on Coachsurfing :)

Interests

I am totally a sport guy. I like almost every kind of sports with all my heart. Especially the ones that have ball in it. :D But my favorite sports are football, basketball and baseball. That is why when you ask me about visiting dreams then you will hear many stadiums, basketball halls or ballparks on the list :D If we start to talk about sports there will be a long long conversation, never getting bored of sports ! :D
Also I like to read books. especially about politics, economics and management books are really attractive for me.
About music, the music that I like to listen can change through my mood actually. but generallyI like almost every kind of music . But of course there are some types that I like more :) Especially, alternative rock, indie rock and electronic music have some priority in my list.
I also watch sometimes movies and TV series. In these days I am following The Last Man on Earth and Person of Interest. They are pretty good actually :D

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite musics : I always like to listen a bite of Armin van Buuren. If you know some about his music then you know what i am talking about. Also there are more DJs in his kind of music like Andrew Rayel, MarLo, Christian Novelli etc. I also have some Turkish bands and singers that I like :)
My favorite movies : I love the surprise ending movies like the Prestige. But my favorite movie is The Scarface. Because for me it is much more than a crime movie. It just shows how being too ambitious can destroy you all and that makes me take lessons from that movie. :)
My favorite books : I like really much Dan Brown's book because he has amazing way to settlement of the topic and it just makes you read. Also as a football fan I read many times biographies and there is a book, The Manager, that every football fan should read to see managers' hard job and mentalities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For sure it is going to US with Work&Travel programme. Because it was totally life changing experience. First time taking a plane, first time leaving the country, first time meeting with foreigners and their cultures.. just amazing. I had Romanian, Chinese roommates, and also friends and neigbours from many other nationalities. Working in another country, meeting with their native people and interracting with them as a foreigner and meeting with their culture more and more deep was amazing. It made a a lot more socialized than before and than any other thing could do. And after that I decided to go any place not just to visit but meet the natives and the culture more and more deep. So it gave me an amazing idea and view.

Teach, Learn, Share

My purpose of using the Couchsurfing is - as I mentined above - getting to know better the people and culture. So I believe that while I will be able to live with the culture and natives together and experience that. Also while I am coming to any place, I will be bringing my culture and present it there. It will be both sided change about cultures, traditions and maybe even languages :D And that will make the experience amazing !

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share the culture, language and bring some traditional stuff with me :D some sweets, beverage etc. :D About cooking , I can be a bit weak but I can try to show some very basic and simple stuff :D It can be still delicious :D
