One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting in a canoe with my family in a lake of blue glaciar water, shaped like a bowl, surrounded by lush green mountains with glaciars mirroring the bowl shaped lake. Jheel (Lake) Saiful Malook in the Himalayas in Northern Pakistan.

We have a saying in Urdu, the language spoken in Pakistan, the rhythm from an instrument far away is much more enchanting than the pounding of drums next door. This is the beauty of couchsurfing.
