Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live in accord with my values...sharing kindness, happiness, and adventure with everyone I meet who is open to those things.
ABOUT ME
Travel-themes: for me, part of the appeal of traveling and local wanderings is in the confirmation of the universal goodness of humanity. A rough description of me: I'm stoked to remain a student in this life, formally or otherwise...it is my intention to approach every situation I encounter with understanding and positivity.
PHILOSOPHY
People are generally good-natured and want to see each other enjoy themselves, and this is apparent when we feel respected and appreciated.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I stayed at a lovely couchsurfing paradise in Portland, OR with folks from Brazil, the Midwestern U.S. France, and Eastern U.S.. This was a rich experience that has made me excited to do more! Also, I'm interested in helping people to experience my current home: Flagstaff, Arizona.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
That stated above is my only "official" couchsurfing experience, though I've had similar experiences outside of the couchsurfing community. While hosteling in Ontario, Canada, I met a German who was touring Canada...we got a beer, and he took me up on the offer to travel back to my hometown in Metro-Detroit. He surfed at my place for a week.

Teach, Learn, Share
Don't wait for "someday" to travel, just do it and realize how rewarding it is and how the road takes care of you if you take care of it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking recipes. Stories of travel and research. Ideas of places to see. Yoga and meditation techniques. Rhythm. Happiness.
