ABOUT ME

I'm kind, hopefully funny ;), curious, smiley, energetic, and I'm always laughing!
Many time travelling on my own and my sustainable tourism studies taught me to look deeper either on people and on their cultures, looking for what's authentic. They also taught me to be contemplative and enjoy every little piece of everything in each place.
CS helped me a lot on this, as being with locals can show you new things, but also make you see what your eyes can't.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined CS in 2006 so I may be able to say that I'm an old school couchsurfer.
Almost 10 years travelling through CS, attending meetings, hosting and being hosted, sometimes more active, sometimes less active...
It's impossible to keep track of all the wonderful experiences I've had but there's a place in my heart to everyone I met.

Interests

I'm an avid runner and ultrarunner, specially on the trails. Love to paint and draw, read a good book... I don't need to mention "travelling and meet new people, right?!"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Stromboli for three months. It's a small island in the south of Italy, with an active volcano that erupts every fifteen minutes. At the beginning I was too scared to laugh about it, but then I got used and just enjoyed my time, having fun with those crazy inhabitants and tourists!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Passion for life, for my city. Shall we go running or would you prefer me to cook you a good Portuguese dish?!
