About Me

My love for music made me start to play the drums. I still am really into metal music, but my aspirations to be a better drummer force me to explore other genres, so I'm getting more and more used to funk, jazz, blues and alternative styles.

I'm always amazed when I start to deepen myself in the mysterie of how our world, our universe, basically everything works. Therefor science has a great appeal to me, but I don't think science has all the answers. I'm not religious either, I might be a bit spiritual (I'm not sure yet, lack of experience I guess), but I feel like we lost our touch with nature, our sense of belonging..
So step by step I'm trying to become more self-aware in everything that I do, in the hope I might change something, someday, for the better.

I'm a thinker, I'm relaxed, and I'm always open for new idea's and perspectives. The bigger your horizon is, the more you see!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to play with a band, sometimes on little tours we needed a place to stay, so couchsurfing was our only option a couple of times. Everytime we stayed with someone we had a blast. The hospitality and kindness of the host's will alway's stay with me.
I'm planning to see some shows in London with a friend, couchsurfing is an ideal unique option!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I toured for two weeks through Europe with my metal band. Almost every night there was a gig, it was exhausting, but hell, the things you see on tour..

Teach, Learn, Share

Keep your expectations low, so suprise can catch you more often, and disappointment wont bother you that much!
Let go! Try to live in the 'now', it's the only real thing there is. You can't change the past, and who know's what will happen in the future? Let it go, just live human! Live yo life! But please, never thought I would quote Ali-G: R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

If Belgium is famous for something it's probably because of something culinary..
Some good company, a nice chat, and if you watch and listen carefully, there's always something you can learn..
