About Me
Hi
You can call me Bernie, I’m an open minded, traveling chef who has been traveling on and off for the last 6 years. My job/life is cook/chef. I’m definitely a work hard, play hard kind of guy. I enjoy doing intense work stints (80 hrs for 6 months), then taking a nice long trip to an unexplored or beloved destination.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to sleep on couches :). And because I love to experience new enviroments. And their is no better way then staying with a local. Plus usually traveling on a budget.
Never really got into using couch surfing. But it’s never to late, right! I really like the idea of people sharing homes, experiences and cultures.

Teach, Learn, Share
Would love to teach my host some New Zealand style cooking. And also learn some traditional style food from my host. Also a good person to practice english with.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Teach them about New Zealand. Never shy to help out with house work. And am a great talker.
