Hey everyone.
I'm Thomas.
Originally from France ( Paris, then the Alps then the South).
I spent 7 years in New Zealand.
I now live in Melbourne, Australia.

I'd say I'm open minded, curious, passionate and as adventurous as possible!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The last few houses I've lived in have been natural couch surf places, where we've pretty much always had friends or 'friends of friends' staying in, so I thought: why not make it official?!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've both hosted and surfed plenty of times around the world. I love it both ways, you always end up meeting great people, sharing stories and a little slice of our lives.

I absolutely love music. I play a few instruments, mainly guitar. I have 2 acoustic guitars, one classic, one electric, an electronic drum kit, a synth, a mic, a mandolin, 3 ukuleles, a kalimba, ...
I love board sports: surf, snowboard, longboard, kite surfing.
Climbing / Rock climbing!
Kayaking, trekking.
Geocaching.
Science ( specifically Astronomy, Cosmology ), philosophy.
Traveling, nature, movies, cinema, good food, good wine, art, interactive installations, mindfulness, good times with good friends :)

I listen to a lot of music, with very eclectic tastes and am really open minded to a lot of different styles, covering almost the whole spectrum from very soft ambiant acoustic, electronic, classical, blues, folk, 'world music', etc... all the way to super heavy rock, with everything in between :)
I think playing instruments really helped broaden my tastes in music.

I'm a cinephile. Love movies, and have plenty of films and tv shows.

I read a lot and again, same problem I can't list all I love. Enjoy both fiction and non fiction.
Also books on astronomy, science, philosophy, and / or intellectually stimulating.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Walking up to the active volcano in Tana, Vanuatu, and sit on the edge of the crater watching the lava bursts.

Staying overnight on the Great Wall of China with just a sleeping bag. Watch the sun set, and rise again, look at the shooting stars while laying on my back on the wall.
