Overview
About Me
I moved to Northern Utah in 2018 from Okinawa and would like to meet locals, newcomers, and travelers. I love to try new things. I love to help people make the most of their travels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm an experienced traveler of Asia and would love to offer recommendations. I often use the CS network when I travel, both for accommodations and connections to the best of local fare. During my first year as a host, I had almost 20 guests. I have not been actively hosting recently, but hope to in the future. I also WOOFed in Australia on a small sustainable family-owned farm, which was a wonderful experience.
Interests
I love to hike, dance, cook, SCUBA, learn, travel, practice yoga, golf, snorkel, and meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very eclectic taste in music, and enjoy live shows. I rarely spend time in front of a screen, so I don’t watch many movies or TV. I'm a voracious reader (mostly fiction).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my favorite travel experiences was driving the Great Ocean Road in Australia. The sun was out, it was just me, the road, and my music - from Bells Beach, to lunch in Lorne, to the Twelve Apostles - it's one of the most beautiful places.
Another amazing travel experience was Halong Bay in Vietnam. Go see it with your own eyes! The giant limestone formations keep going and going and going... other worldly!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach: cooking, yoga, dance (jazz, modern, salsa), travel tips, English language
I would love to learn: more about Utah and different places to travel.
