About Me

🤍: Sailing, documentary film, chess, visual design

I born and raised on the island called Sakhalin

PHILOSOPHY
I’m not on my way to a more important moment. This current moment is the most important moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

love how this system works: it connects people of different backgrounds and views at one place but anywhere in the world. Past few years are full of stories when I met great people, soulmates, right on the street, in a hostel and through couchsurfing.
Normally, accommodation for me is not a problem, just find it less adventurous and simply cannot miss a chance to meet locals.

Interests

Documentary filmmaking is probably smth that interests me the most at the moment. I'm very keen on learning new things and wouldn't stop until I get to the point. Also visual storytelling is a powerful tool for making a change

I love adventure in general

  • dogs
  • chess
  • sailing
  • squash
  • cultures
  • sustainable development
  • documentary filmmaking
  • visual design

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gap Year is definitely one of the best experiences I've had so far. It took me some courage as it's not a common thing it the place where I lived. I tried living abroad on my own. I worked full-time, volunteered in international team, did lots of readings and self-studies.

[2018]Last summer I hitchhiked from Moscow to Kazan and back . First long-distance solo ride and everything went smooth, good trial before a real adventure.
This may I did another ride from Kyiv to Odessa
