Hi!

I am a student at the University of Waterloo studying Environment and Business! I have a passion for the outdoors, trying new things, taking on new challenges and food! I strongly believe in the protection of our planet and the wellbeing of all.

The world has so much to offer us, and I want to be able to meet, influence and connect with everyone from different walks of life... there is no better way to experience the world! Having been caught up in school, I have not had much time to get out travel which is why I want to do as much as I can with each opportunity.

I grew up on the west coast of Canada but now reside in Toronto, Ontario. I have played sports my entire life, with the main being basketball (7 +years) and volleyball ( 10 + years)! I love being active and getting an adrenaline rush ( been bungee jumping, cliff jumping and skydiving).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to go beyond the realm of a 'typical' tourist and share my experiences and laughs with others...even if it is only for a short period of time. I look forward to being able to connect with others and see the world through their eyes! I believe that everyone has something they can teach us and vice versa. I love being able to share personal stories and connections with others while building out a global network of friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to listen to anything that makes me want to get up and move! However, it varies with time! Current favorites: Drake, J.cole, Rihanna, Niykee Heaton, Bryson Tiller and Mac Miller (RIP).

Some favourite movies: Hawksaw Ridge, Dead Pool, 21 Jump Street and Breakfast Club.

Books: I enjoyed Lord of the Flies, 1984, and Ann's Story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Portaging! So, carrying everything I needed including, food, transportation, shelter, clothes, first aid, etc. for 2 weeks without any contact with any other humans. It was a difficult trip, both physically and mentally. I carried a 130 lb Domoine canoe solo 14 km total during one portage and have done over 16 hours of canoeing on the water in a day.
