I used to be on couchsurfing back in 2008, and hosted two very nice girls from Canada. I ended up moving a lot after I lost my job in 2009 and haven't had a good hosting situation for years. I've got a nice place to stay now in Syracuse, and would be happy to host! I have a 10 year old daughter who is totally awesome! I have also had some interesting travel experiences, mainly in Central America. I've been to a number of rainbow gatherings and focalized the rainbow guide for a couple of years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I've got this feeling lately like I'm ready for adventure. I've spent a number of years in crazy struggle and several more just getting my feet on the ground again. Now I feel like I want to fly! I love meeting new people and cooking for people and washing dishes and cleaning for people. I sat and watched some kids I didn't know play basketball at the park today for an hour. They were just having so much fun - it made me feel happy and full of life. I feel like I want to be a part of the world, to immerse myself.

Interests

I love long walks, swimming in the ocean, exploring in the woods, making art with various media and especially with wood, carving wood, taking pictures, being a mom to my awesome daughter, eating healthy food and filet mignon and lobster and lots of butter and cheese and eating is yummy time for me.... um also juice fasting, meditation, exercise like swimming laps and jogging and hiking, DANCING!!!!! especially to electronic music (PLUR baby!), getting high on life, peaceful silences, playing the kazoo, laughing and being silly, making excellent campfires, cooking, crochet, soaking baths, etc.

I gave birth to my daughter without any drugs then breastfed her on demand and potty trained her from a month old.
