Overview
About Me
I'm open to new experiences and get along with most kinds of people. I'm happy to be just by myself, with one friend or a whole bunch of people. I’m a very calm and good-tempered, honest, open minded and helpful person.
During my free time I like to read a book, go to gym or do other sports, eat good food and hang out with friends. With friends I might go grab a beer or something to eat, while hanging out or I might organize to play board games, miniature games or to watch good tv series/movies.
I’m very strange in a way that I don't eat sweets, so no candy or even ice cream for me, but I do like tasting new food, something you can't get here. I am not picky and I am very curious. I also enjoy learning to cook the food. but don't have recipes to share. I do like to go and see the sights and enjoy the scenery, but people are more important in my travels.
Currently I am finishing my studies at an university and about to start to look for a new job in Security Management.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m new to Couch-surfing, and just getting hang of it, but I have traveled to stay with friends a few times in different countries, but have not hosted anyone at my home yet.
As a guest, I would like to get a real sense of what life and people are like there as opposed to taking an idyllic touristy vacation.
As a host, I have have very limited space for only a night or two on a sofa or camp-bed in Käpylä, about 4 km from downtown but in a very good location with buses going in every 5 min and 15 min walk to the Pasila railway station.
I would love to meet and entertain guests as they explore the area.
In my school I used to be an international tutor, helping foreign students from the airport to their homes, with setup and with any problems etc. I was also part of the team organizing events for them.
