ABOUT ME

I come from the South, "Terra amara", and I see myself as a citizen of the world. I think we all have the responsibility of everything that surround us, including plants and animals, near or far. I try to turn my philosophy into actions, starting from the small things, "the tiles form the mosaic". I study Anthropology, but is better to say that Anthropology is my way of life. I search the Beauty, that everywhere born mysteriously, because it can save the humans. Stories are my passions and obsession, to listen is an art, as well as to observe. I like to give smiles, hugs and kisses, to feel warm with people, to contradict the loneliness. Every ending is a beginning.

I grown up in a nasty suburb of Napoli, I learned life from Family, Books and Streets. Flown up in Bologna when I was 19, there I did the university, there was a change of perspectives that improved the knowledge. I always had the passion of travel, to travel alone or with someone gives questions and some answers; and it's the best way to find yourself in the others. So I travelled, and I still do, to discover the human being and the strange crazy thing called life.

I was member of Hospitality club for several years. I was part of the community, a point in the network and a door into my life for anyone. Great experience, that now continues on CS!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I remember one time being hosted by a man I met on a beach in southern morocco, in his barrack made of wood and metal from the trash. We didn't have a language in common, he didn't ask me money or things, as a meal we shared a fish that fell from a boat of fishermen coming back to the harbour. We stayed silently, smiling to eachother, listening to music coming from an almost broken radio. That guy was, for me, the best demonstration of the intimate goodness of people.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Well, we all can learn for the whole life, from everybody and from everything. I also think that the best teachings come when one is not teaching but simply living according to his beliefs. The example is the best way to teach. Then, I am a quite good italian cook, and I love to learn new ways of cooking, especially vegetarian. I like to share books, and movies, and ideas and opinion about that. All my knowledge about the places where I have been is available for my guests and hosts. I would like to learn as many languages as possible, and customs, beliefs, dances, gestures, styles, and everything dealing with culture.
