I'm just an easy going guy with a heart for life and all it has to offer. I am pretty independent...I love education, but I value experience over knowledge, so I try to blend the two and experience all I can in the world and with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a surfer host...I like to give a diverse taste of local culture. I participate fully in my community and can hook people up with activities in whatever interest area. I also surf...seldom out of necessity, often out of choice and support for CouchSurfing, and occasionally, I meet up for other surfers for the fun of it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

AWESOME!!!!! I've hosted some amazing people...many of with whom I am still in touch. Surfing has been awesome internationally, as well as domestically in the USA.

I love variety! Movies: from senseless comedies to eye-opening documentaries. Music: from gansta rap to renaissance motets. Books: from Harry Potter to Nelson Mandela's autobiography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

WOW...I'm amazed daily! I took a personal retreat during China's National Day to Emei Shan...I scaled the 61km path to the top in 3 days. Exhausting...but exhilarating. And there are no words for the sunrise at the summit!

I love to learn and believe that there is something to be learned from every experience and interaction...regardless of class, creed, etc. etc. My experiences are varied...but if something comes up in conversation for which I have insight...I'll share it freely and willingly.
