ABOUT ME

I think traveling and living in different countries will test my boundaries, challenge my assumptions, expand my frame of reference/horizon and will be a wonderful experience even when at times it may be uncomfortable or unpleasant. I hope it will also make me a continuously better as I meet interesting and inspiring folks!

Non-smoker, helpful, friendly, will clean and can cook.

Really want to do a long distance cycling trip but scared of riding alone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a complete newbie! This will be my first surf experience. I don't have a couch right now but once I do I will share.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The closest thing I've done to couchsurfing is staying at a friend's cousin's place when we were all traveling together. Does that count?

Interests

LOTS! Scuba diving, Group Power (muscle endurance fitness class), Bikram yoga, running, cycling, swimming, traveling (obviously), music, piano, environmental stuff, paint. I'd like to practice climbing (so I can climb a mountain or ice climb), I'd like to play in a band one day, sing in the choir again, and act in some plays! Jump out of an airplane, hang glide, sail.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everything in the sea! The sea is amazing, every life is so interesting, different, unique, well adapted, cute and some ugly at the same time but all very fascinating! Just the other day I saw some kelp crabs, little crabs disguising themselves as part of the giant kelps in Victoria. I can go on and on here but I'd rather tell you in person because I get really excited when I talk about the sea :D
