Overview
About Me
I'm 24 years old, and one way or another Edinburgh has been a part of my life for the last six years. After being born and growing up in Macclesfield, I moved up to Edinburgh to study History, and also did lots of acting in student theatre. I'm still not entirely sure what I want to do with life, but right now I'm a Cycling Development Officer with Cycling UK, and I love it - I'm a keen utility/urban cyclist.
Any host ought to know that I like mornings, am easygoing, affable, vegetarian, and can sleep pretty much anywhere.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There's no denying that couchsurfing is an affordable accommodation choice when travelling, but I also really value the opportunity to encounter and learn about a place not just from being spat out of a hotel room and wandering around but by meeting with a local.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite band is Radiohead. I'm into almost anything played on BBC6music. Also a huge fan of Pulp, Bjork, and anything that came out of Manchester in the late 80s and early 90s.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've written and performed my own show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cook a really lovely stew and potato gratin.
I also have some basic cycle mechanic skills if you need something like a tyre fixing or gears/brakes adjusting.
I will perform some poetry for you. If you don't like mine, I will read to you from a poet of your choice!
