About Me
CURRENT MISSION
finding my way without constantly checking Google Maps on my phone where I actually am
ABOUT ME
I'm Emma-Sophia, a student in Amsterdam. Faithfull disciple of Hertog Jan - the brewery is in my lovely hometown - and a big fan of undefinable jokes. I'm always in for a drink and I'm certainly in for several drinks.
PHILOSOPHY
I met a guy a Nepal who wrote his own poems. He had one morning-poem he ones read to me, it ended with "tast life, its delicious, mmmmmmh..." and I thought by myself: you are damn right. You can make out of life whatever you want, it has got everything to offer. It's up to you how much you make use of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live anti-squat in a former primary school, it's quite big, you can stay with more then two people, but check with me first.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted several times, surfed a few times. All experiences were great! But I filter my requests, there are so many opportunists on this website.
Interests
My major interest is definitely music! Pink Floyd, CCR, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, David Bowie, Rodriguez, Waldeck, The Doors, The Beatles, Waldeck, etc...
I have a cat, Rex. Also known as Du-rex, Rexinator, T-rex. Friends keep calling him weird names and he quite listens to all of these (that means, he waves his ears but doesn't feel like giving attention so he just keeps on pretending he's sleeping).
Latest name is Trudi, yesterday I heard Helga

Music, Movies, and Books
I love books in general, that's why I study literature at the University of Amsterdam. I recently finished Dexter and Breaking Bad. Nothing can beat this so I haven't watched much tv lately.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2009/2010 I made a trip through Asia, where I fist worked in Bangkok for four months at a bicycle tour-company. After that I went to Sri Lanka, India, Nepal and Kazachstan. I went by myself; I really learned much more then I've ever could imagined.
In Nepal, I did the canyon swing and the bungee jump, it's fucking awesome, never thought I'd actually jump!
Teach, Learn, Share
A few years back I followed a course in Spanish, but forgot almost anything :( Want to pick that up though
