About Me

CURRENT MISSION

adventure time

ABOUT ME

I'm a student of International Studies at Salisbury University and I plan to travel a lot, whether it be for pleasure or work.

PHILOSOPHY

I'd like to get to know my own country better by traveling through it, and I'd like to become a global citizen by immersing myself in different cultures and exploring foreign lands.

I guess I consider myself pretty spiritual. I try to find meaning in all things, it helps to motivate and inspire. Do what feels right, and believe what you find most believable. "Keep it simple, stupid."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel. I want to go see new places, meet new people, and experience new cultures. I can offer a couch and help travelers get to know my hometown of Sykesville, or my schooltown of Salisbury.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was couchsurfing in Philadelphia, it was an awesome time. Since then it's been like to tradition to return each year. However, I really need to get off my butt, start broadening my horizons and traveling farther

Interests

I find it hard to list all the sweet things in life I'm interested in. I'm pretty eclectic and dabble in almost any field. I find pretty much everything engaging and enlightening to some extent. My personal favorite interests, I'd have to say, are martial arts, video games, computers, history, language, socializing, reading, and doing meaningful work.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classic oldies like the Beatles, Smashing Pumpkins, and the Beach Boys are really cool. I keep current with new rock and I always jam out with the radio or my iPod throughout the day. I absolutely love alternative rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first grand travel experience was simply climbing Mt. Old Rag in the Shenandoah National Park. From the top I was at eye level with clouds and I could see at least 4 states, I think. I've never seen so much and so far at one point in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I'm a second degree black belt so I have experience in self-defense. I'm sort of a ninja.

I've played around on computers and videogames since early childhood so I'm pretty tech-savvy.

I keep current on world events and politics so I usually know what's going on. I can usually pitch in on random topics and try to expand conversations
