ABOUT ME

Im Bastiaan, everyone calls me Bas witch is kind of hard to explain while im traveling because everyone thinks im calling myself 'a' Boss.

Ive been raised in Bodegraven where i lived 'till 2009.
There's where ive started my 'big travel' trough Asia with my best friends Pim and Natasja. Natasja told me about couchsurfing wich we did at several places (Nepal, Russia, Belarus and Poland). It was awesome and i was amazed by the hospitality and bizare level of trust that couchsurf hosters have.
Obviously i created my own account to meet people and to help them experience Holland at its best!

I love to party, go out, party at home, party at friends, festivals, we even organise our own festival in Bodegraven (www.gratisfestival.com) and party while traveling.

Also i love nature, i studied Nature and forest management (technicly makes me a forrester :P) wich is a rare study in Holland since there's relatively not much nature. However i can show you around and tell you loads about Dutch nature.

My house is spatially so if your ok with sleeping in my room, or our livingroom than your more than welcome! I can always get some matrasses and offcourse ive got a couch! I said that i can have 3 people over, can have more but ill need to check with my friends who live with me if their ok with that (i live with 2 other friends in my house).

Bodegraven has a trainstation witch gives you the possibility to be in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Den Haag and Rotterdam in less than 1 hour, the train leaves every half hour so if you want to see the most crowded area of holland, youll have a perfect place to start from.

All my couchsurfing experiences where super! i did couchsurfing in Kathmandu, Kabarovsk, Ikrutsk Kracow and moscow.
All people where different but all so ridiculous friendly! it was like we where friends whitin hours!
