About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am working toward positive shifts in the world through radical depth, honesty and creativity. I imagine a new cultural norm that embraces collaboration, benevolence and gratification!

ABOUT ME

I am warm, social, intelligent, witty and conscientious. I like to have fun and enjoy a deep conversation as well as a playful party.

PHILOSOPHY

Personal philosophy...hmm bold integrity especially looking inward, following the lead of my inspiration and passion even when it is difficult or painful or unbearably ecstatic and pleasing. I strive to blend dedicated responsibility with playful abandon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I belonged to couch surfing in 2007 and did a lot of traveling at the time. What an amazing project! I have only had great experiences in my time as a Couch Surfer.

Interests

I am creatively driven. I enjoy playing music, hearing music, seeing art, discussing art, taking pictures, and being playful. I like to dance. I like to read. I like to commune with the natural world. I like to ride my bike through urban landscapes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am terrible at answering this kind of question. I love SO MANY books and SO MUCH music. I am currently listening to the song Sweet Jane by the Cowboy Junkies and reading the book Aphrodite's Daughters by Jalaja Bonheim. The last movie I saw was... MIB 3. This isn't a typical choice for me, though I enjoyed it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flying into Sitka, Alaska. The natural world was so vast compared to the town, which appeared so small it didn't emerge from the landscapes until we were nearly on top of it. The landscape in Sitka was so breathtaking. Snow peaked mountains, rocky waterways, little islands of pines and polished rock beaches.

Playing music for a really hot crowd. This is one of the most amazing and satisfying feelings I have ever experienced. Looking out at the dancing, smiling, sweaty bodies. Intimacy with a roomful of humans.

Early morning, sunrise in South Dakota. Seeing sparkling, tiny, dew covered webs as far as the eye could see across the prarie.
