CURRENT MISSION
To see as much of the world as possible and learn about the different ways of living.
ABOUT ME
Hello there! My name is Espen and I come from a small city in the far north of Norway called Tromsø where I've lived all my life. I really haven't done too much traveling, which is why after I went to the Roskilde Music Festival in Denmark (roskilde-festival.dk/), I decided to buy a 30 day interrail ticket. Since then I have been jumping random trains to wherever I wanted to go then and there.
On my journey through Germany, Netherlands and Belgium I have had the privilege of meeting and gotten to know sooo many awesome people. It has really been a life-changing experience for the better and I always find myself amazed and overwhelmed by the openness and endless hospitality that has met me.
I have a faint idea about going through the south of France, down through Spain to Portugal. I have been skateboarding and snowboarding all my life, so my goal now is to SURF!! I REALLY, REALLY want to surf! Yeah ^^,
PHILOSOPHY
Be open and honest. Work on self awareness to avoid irrational negativity. Gain perspective. Sounds cheesy I know, but it works wonders for me :)
Interests
Skateboard, Snowboard, Surfing, Gaming, Movies, Music and all that good stuff ^^,
On top of that Im sure I don't know about half of my interests, which is why I travel to find new influences.

Music, Movies, and Books
Where do I START!? Way too many to make a fair assessment of my taste, but I'll try:
Movies
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Fight Club, The Big Lebowski, ANYthing from Hayao Miyazaki (Anime, Studio Ghibli, Princess Mononoke, Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle etc). Jim Jarmusch, Coen Brothers, Quentin Tarrantino ugh the list goes on and on, but I think I should mention that I love low budget 60-90's B-Movies!
Music
I always find something I like in every genre and what I listen to completely depends on my mood. But I rarely don't listen to music.
Books
I don't read too much, but I'm currently reading Mengele Zoo by Gert Nygaardshaug and I love it this far. After that I will read Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The snowy mountaintops I've cruised down on my snowboard probably. The satisfaction of landing tricks down stairs on my skateboard. It's farking amazing!!! Now I hope I'll be able to say the same about surfing the waves! ^^,
