Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My first experience with CS was surfing a couch in Berlin, and it was a blast. After that I've had the privilege of housing a lot of people at the different places I've lived at the last couple of years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS is the one of the greatest social experiments out there. Your travelling experience is potentially so much better. And it's great sharing a bottle of wine together with total strangers from across the globe who arrived at your door just moments earlier.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love kubrick movies such as 2001: a space oddyssey, a clockwork orange and eyes wide shut, I love david lynch movies such as Inland Empire, Mulholland Drive, Lost Highway, I love Coppola's movies such as The Godfather and Apocalypse Now!

Currently I'm listening to Burial, Joanna Newsom, PJ Harvey, Kraftwerk, Joy Division, Kyuss, Bonnie "Prince" Billy.

I'm usually too restless to read much, but I love books such as "On the Road" and "The Catcher in the Rye".

I'm a TV-series marathon viewer, and my favourites are Cosmos, Planet Earth, The Wire, Sopranos, Twin Peaks, Entourage, Flight of the Conchords

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking in SE Asia on a student's loan,

Ran an art gallery in down town Oslo together with a friend,

Created an online network for friends to keep in touch called Carpelectus, which ironically, is latin for "seize the couch"!
