ABOUT ME

I (Esperanza) was couchsurfer before and I met great people travelling and hosting, now I live with my boyfriend Pedro in Freiburg and we would love to meet new people and have a great time with them here in Freiburg or in any place of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We love travelling, the best way to visit a new city is with someone who can show you those little places that aren't in the guides, in the other way around we love to show our favourite places in town to new people.

兴趣

We love music, Pedro plays the piano and some other instruments and I love to listen, we like to stay at home and play some boardgames, cards, watch movies, but we also love to take the bikes and ride in the woods, in the Blackforest, just 5 min from home; or go out and have some beers outside.

It's really difficult to be brief here... I will say indie music, rock, Jazz, folk, pop, blues, classical... (random bands: Beirut, Smashing Pumpkins, Beatles, PJ Harvey, Radiohead, Django Reindhart, Lou Reed, Blur, Erik Satie, David Bowie and yes... a lot!)
We love to read, mostly novels (Chuck Palahniuk, Terry Pratchet, Enric González, J.D. Salinger, Nabokov, Michael Ende :), Davis Trueba, Nick Hornby...)but also literature of science like Bill Bryson, and I love comics (Watchmen, Jimmy Corrigan, Asterios Polyp, Sandman, Jason, 100 bullets...)
Favourite movies: Radio Days (Woody Allen in general), La meglio gioventù, Amèlie, Trainspotting, Tarantino first movies, Wes Anderson!!...

I (Esperanza) hitchhiked from Denmark to Barcelona, travelling around Europe, in the summer of 2011. It was a great experience!
