I grew up all over the place, never living anywhere longer than 5 years. Most recently from Ohio in the United States, I'm living in Japan with the JET Program in a tiny but worthwhile town called Kuroishi.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about this opportunity from my friend, and I've met a few of her guests who were couchsurfers- looking forward to meeting people!

In general, I like adventuring; whether that's climbing up a big rock called a mountain or trying a new recipe that sounds impossible, I'm in.

In particular, I like photography, sports, discussions (probably not sports discussions), food always.

Since childhood I've loved exploring, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures! My parents moved a lot and always welcomed people to our home to share about themselves over a home-cooked meal. I think that hospitality and cultural exchange are beautiful, essential parts of life. People are amazing, and people are what make our world interesting, unique, and yes, amazing.
