About Me

CURRENT MISSION

URUGUAY!!!

ABOUT ME

I'm from East Vancouver, and I've travelled a bit, but I've never been to Latin America. I've spent a lot of time in England, Spain, and Morocco, and I lived in Essaouira for most of 2011.
For years I played poker for a living, while doing other projects. That allowed me the freedom to travel a lot. Most recently I've worked as a production assistant in television and as an organizer for the NDP (a left wing political party.)
I like books, bars, music, and interesting people. I'm urban and a bit eccentric, but down-to-earth
I've been working very long hours in politics and television and I look forward to relaxation and adventure in South America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted a lot of people while I was living in Morocco. I still haven't really traveled much with Couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a lot of different people playing host in Essaouira. I think meeting the Moroccans involved in the project was the best part, as it introduced me to a broad range of Moroccan society that I didn't really see in my small town (Shout out my Casa peeps!) Hearing different people's opinions on things was nice too. Props to the scholars, the artists, the partiers, and all the rest.
