About Me

CURRENT MISSION

No Pun Intended I Live

ABOUT ME

Yo, what's good? I'm a special education elementary school teacher who hasn't fully realized how underpaid I am. My students help me remember how much fun life can be, and although there are some serious issues out there, we can't take everything so serious. I love to laugh and I love people who laugh.

I like to travel via car or Greyhound, cause I want to see everything this country has to offer without flying. Airplanes miss so much.

I ball, write, rhyme, and philosophize.

PHILOSOPHY

To be misunderstood is to be great.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted and been hosted. All my experiences have been great, so I don't see my participation dwindling anytime soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met awesome people through CS, and have had incredible hosts particularly. I aspire to become a dope host because a badass host can make long traveling days seem obsolete.

Interests

I listen to jazz and hip-hop, but I check out music of any kind, which Austin has a lot of. I love to read and write. I I mostly write slam poetry and plays. I also like to have intelligent conversations about any topic. When I'm not fulfilling my artistic cravings, I go hiking and skiing (only when there is a mountain around). Oh yeah, and baseball. I really enjoy baseball and football.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hung out with David Cross my freshman year.

I traveled the country on a Greyhound for two weeks going to different ballparks.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone has different accents, but it's amazing how similar we are when we break out a smoke and a beer.
