Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me gusta viajar, especialmente por medios terrestres, ya que así comprendo las magnitudes de las distancias y los cambios de geografía. Al visitar lugares intento conocer y entender cómo vive la gente y su cultura. Es ideal si puedo compartir con personas que conozcan el lugar y me cuenten sobre las costumbres de la zona.

También me gusta recibir personas que estén interesadas en saber cómo es mi país y su especial geografía que cambia mucho de norte al sur austral.

I like traveling, especially by land, as it helps me understand the magnitude of distances and changes in geography. When visiting places, I try to get to know and understand how people live and their culture. It is ideal if I can share with people who are familiar with the place and can tell me about the local customs.

I also like hosting people who are interested in learning about my country and its unique geography that changes significantly from the northern to the southern end.

Interests

Me gusta conocer nuevos lugares, apreciar la naturaleza, su vegetación, la fauna y los hermosos paisajes. Disfruto de probar nuevas comidas y sabores.

Me gusta aprender cosas nuevas, y compartir con gente que me pueda enseñar.

En lo académico, me interesa la economía y el derecho. Me dedico a la asesoría en contratos de tecnologías y proyectos de I+D.

Academically, I am interested in economics and law. I work in consulting for technology contracts and research and development projects.

Music, Movies, and Books

Me gustan muchas películas y libros, pero uno que encontré muy motivador para viajeros es “Atrapa tu sueño”, de Candelaria y Herman Zapp, es una historia increíble, lo recomiendo.

I like many movies and books, but one that I found very motivating for travelers is "Spark Your Dream" by Candelaria and Herman Zapp. It's an incredible story, I recommend it.

Me gusta compartir puntos de vista acerca de la sociedad, economía, educación y otros temas sociales. Estudié Derecho, y he trabajado en el área de la asesoría por varios años y, aunque puede no ser el tema más entretenido, puedo enseñar sobre propiedad intelectual o conversar sobre temas relacionados a la protección de las artes, invenciones, los datos y las tecnologías.

He recorrido muchos lugares de mi país, Chile, así que si te interesa también te puedo dar recomendaciones y compartir mis experiencias.

I enjoy sharing viewpoints on society, economics, education, and other social issues. I studied Law, and I have worked in consulting for several years, and although it may not be the most entertaining subject, I can teach about intellectual property or discuss issues related to the protection of the arts, inventions, data, and technologies.

I have traveled to many places in my country, Chile, so if you're interested, I can also give you recommendations and share my experiences.
