CURRENT MISSION

I'm studying abroad in Osnabrück, Germany from April to August 2014. There I will be traveling in France, Austria and Italy, and hopefully other European countries if time permits.

ABOUT ME

My name is Esteban, I was born in Chile and raised in Argentina. Now I live in Dunedin, Florida, United States. I'm an outgoing guy and I joke around a lot. I guess you can say I have a pretty goofy personality. I like meeting new people and having fun!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that staying positive is the most crucial part of being happy. I always try to think positively and do new and exciting things. I always pay little to no attention to the crappy aspects of life, unless I absolute have to (e.g. paying bills). But yeah, I'm always trying to be happy and grateful for what I got.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a new member to couchsurfing, but I traveled to the north east United States with a friend that was part of couchsurfing, and we stayed with a few members in D.C. and Philadelphia. Our hosts were very hospitable and friendly and I had an amazing time.

Interests

I like riding my bike, playing guitar, being outside, learning new skills, discovering new places, reading, filming videos, hiking, and surfing (just tried it a few times but I loved it).

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is Blood Diamond. I enjoy a ton of other movies, mainly dramas about real life and socioeconomic struggles and comedies.

Music- I enjoy most sorts of music but I manly enjoy all sorts of punk and hip hop. For punk I like stuff like Minor Threat, Chocking Victim, 70's UK bands etc.. I also like some punk-ska like Rancid, Operation Ivy, etc. In hip hop I listen to some main stream artist but I do like listening more underground artist. My favorite rapper is Stic.man

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't really done anyhting too amazing yet, but I'm planning to do it in my next trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've always been interested in history so I might have some knowledge about that that other might not. I can also teach someone how to play guitar, skateboard, use Ableton Live, and speak Spanish or German.
