About Me

I am a recent immigrant to MTL, here ever thing is new and exciting, I am also taking a brake from my medical practice and studies to improve my cooking skills working in a restaurant. I like to receive people into my home as a growing experience, shearing my ideas and my love for the outdoor activities, specially biking. I also like a lot drawing and painting, just from my imagination or coping other art.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in this type of experience, keep traveling and meeting new people makes me grow, as I said before. Every one of us is different and amazing, we can learn a lot from each other if we now what we are looking for!

I like to experience with new type of food, in my house, at work and of course when traveling, dinning is an excellent way to communicate and extend a bridge between cultures and people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving to Montreal has changed my life completely, I started working in a kitchen where is mandatory to speak french and at the time I started I nearly knew how to say Bonjour! and know I realise how much my french has improved. leaving my home and my zone of comfort has driven me to a place where I felt completely lost and crazy; now I allow my self to unlearn the past lessons to truly know how I am... still in process, never ending discoveries and changes.

Teach, Learn, Share

Some of the most interesting things I have learned is how to be happy with less things; this things attach you and don't let you move freely. If all the people live like we do here in Montreal we will need 3 Earths, the mentality of the society is focused to enrich the richest people in the world and we don't realise this. By talking about it we can start to make a difference. Challenge economy and politics now!
