I'm Esteban Robles Benavides and I come from Belgium. I'm 23 y/o and I have two little sisters called Violette and Danaé. I was studying graphic design in Belgium, and I took a little break because I wanted to travel and look for inspiration and I wanted to open my mind. I do photography (well at least I'm trying to...), I do music (electronic music and DJ) and I draw. I love art and I'm very sensitive to it. I'm curious and interested about other cultures. I want to learn, meet new people and share what I have to share.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Currently I'm visiting South America for a few months, and right now I'm in Argentina. I plan to visit Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador (where I have a part of my family) and maybe Colombia. The people in South America are very kind, warm and hearty and it's different from Belgium where I feel that they are cold and mistrustful...
I want to meet new people and share my experiences, stories and everything else in a simple way, sharing a meal or helping however I can.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

In music I'm very sensitive about percussions. Like in Jazz, Funk, but also electronic music such as Drum & Bass, Techno. I like old school Hip-Hop too. And recently someone explained me the difference between Cumbia and Reggaeton and I think that I prefer Reggaeton.
I love fantastic or science fiction movies, with made up worlds, imaginary creatures, everything that's not from this world. I like dramatic movies too, "Gran Torino" from Clint Eastwood is one of my favorites.
To be honest I don't read really much... The last books I've read were the 3 books from Bernard Werber called "Les Fourmis" or in English "Empire of the Ants".

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Someone that I didn't know at all sent me a message on my Facebook page. He told me that he likes my music a lot, and he wanted to invite me in Austria to play at a party he was organizing. First I didn't believe at all. And then we kept talking and finally it happened! So my girlfriend and I went for the first time in Austria, we did a little city trip and Saturday night I played at his party! It was an awesome experience.
