Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite genre of music is Hip Hop. Lupe Fiasco and Kendrick Lamar are in my Top 5. With that said I also love Rock, EDM, Jazz, Soul, Reggaeton, Pop, Afrobeat, Soca, Reggae, Bollywood, World, etc. I guess that's just a long way of saying I love listening to new music and new sounds.

My favorite movie is the cult classic Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. I love the mix of humor, pop culture references, action sequences and romance drama. Also, the soundtrack was awesome! It spoke to me in high school and it holds up to this day. Honorable mentions include Pulp Fiction, Guardians of the Galaxy, the Motorcycle Diaries and Coming to America.

I mostly read non-fiction and plays, but my favorite book is Zorro by Isabella Allende. He was a character I aspired to be like as a kid and Allende is a master story-teller. The last book I completed though was Living with a SEAL by Jesse Itzler. It is horrifyingly hilarious and super motivational. I definitely recommend both books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving the day after my college graduation with my girlfriend and some friends from a group called Outer There. They organize outdoor events so city folks like myself can enjoy a taste of what real fresh air is like. If you ever happen to be in the New York area I recommend to check out their website http://www.outerthere.com and see if you can go to an event. They're really cool.

Anywho, skydiving has been one of those things that were on my bucket list that I'm so happy to complete. When dropping in the air it is terrifyingly exhilarating, but when you're floating with the parachute it is one of the most relaxing experiences imaginable. It feels like you're swimming in an ocean of sky. If you can't tell, I want to do this again one day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a teaching artist by trade so if you happen to be interested in exploring any artform or simply want to make a cool project let me know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can perform a monologue, take pictures, record, edit etc. Generally if I'm crashing at your place and you need a favor let me know and I'll try to help.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, England, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Montenegro, Morocco, Northern Ireland, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Scotland, Spain
