About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Squeeze Freiburg before I have to start travelling again...
ABOUT ME
I really enjoy getting to know the places I visit or live in (I´m an anthropologist, so I´m really attracted to diversity). People, food, sometimes drinks, places, views, opinions, idea, pretty much everything I can get to know or experience. I´m fairly honest and outgoing, and really like the possibility of experiencing life changing travels and friendships.
PHILOSOPHY
Diversity is, in the end, what makes us human and difference the source of intelligence, surprise, mystery and excitement. I just love finding possibilitites, new ways of living, new ways of thinking...
Interests
I pretty much spend my time doing research, since I´m a PhD student, learning about other people, languages and ways of thinking. I have practiced martial arts (wu-shu and aikido) for some time. I certainly enjoy role-playing games and some other geeky stuff. I am a big fan of cinema, literature and good music. Traveling has been one of my passions as well, so much I´ve incorporated into my career and life projects.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Classic literature, fantasy and sci-fi even though it has been some time since I´ve read throroughly and constantly non-academic literature (the curse of a PhD, I guess...)
Music: I´m always open to the work of talented musicians, especially those who like to express what they got and not only care about which music is on top of the sales chart. (Favorites: ska, classic rock, some latin, jazz, blues, reggae, balkan, some electro, among others...).
Movies: Well... if they make you think and change your ideas about the world, great; if they entretain you, fine... I don´t have a real preference for any genre
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, three images then: One, a black sky covered with stars when navigating the Amazon river, after swimming in the Tarapoto lakes; black, bottomless and scarily mysterious. Two, traveling with a Latin-American Roma through the city I grew up in. Getting to know it from another angle, visiting the kitchens of famous restaurants and riding in the back of cargo trucks. So great. Three, studying in Europe and getting to know the international vibe of its amazing cosmopolitan cities. Hearing 6 different languages in a single conversation. Tongue-twisting and mind-blowing, but lovely...
