About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get to know people around the globe! share experiences, grow, learn and mainly laugh. A true believer of a world without borders.

ABOUT ME

Friendly, affectionate, passional, adventurous, tenacious, extrovert, funny, artistic, well educated, cultured, liberal, hyperactive, loyal, open minded. Also i am openly gay, so open minded people are always welcomed.

Im a very friendly and cool guy, fascinated about arts, different cultures and simple things in life. I can call myself very fortunate to have been able to travel around the world since i was little, which made me a huge fan of getting out of my comfort zone and getting to know other ways of living, thinking and relating to others.

Actually, traveling centers me; so everytime i feel a little bit lost in my routine i just try to take a plane and fly to another place, to remember that everything is possible. A little bit of a party animal, fan of electronic music and music festivals.

I work as a life and transformational coach around Mexico, facilitating workshops, group trainings and individual coaching sessions for people who are up to the challenge to take their lives to the next level and experience them fully and in an extraordinary way. I am a true believer that obstacles only live in our mindsets and its exactly there where our true potential resides.

Into kabbalah and spirituality! I love to work with astrology (I’m a kabbalist astrologer) and try to share with whoever is ready to learn how to live from a kabbalah spiritual perspective.

A great listener and gregarious. A great part of why i love what i do, is being able to connect with others; which is really important for me, because i truly believe that it is the only way to have meaningful and trustful relationships.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life, Love life, Share life.

I have found, through my experiences, that sharing myself and experiencing others gives us the tools to understand a little bit more of the reality we are all living in; specially in a world that, i think, needs more than ever, a bunch of brotherhood, solidarity and inclusion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Part of why i love Couchsurfing is exactly that: The opportunity it gives us to connect to others, no matter where you are from or who you are. Giving me the chance not only to know a place from a local perspective, but also to establish great friendships that can last for a life time.

Everytime i travel I try to find a host or friends to show me around. First, because I tend to travel alone and i love to meet new people and cuz i think there is a bunch of "magic behind the scenes", as i like to call it, of every city that only a local can know of.

If you are near a place where i'm at be sure i will be glad to show you around, sightsee together, grab a drink or even host you in my hometown if my place is available.

I really think the best way to know a place is feeling "home", welcomed and embraced in the culture. And thats exactly what i love to do whenever there is a new friend coming over to these aztec lands.

Interests

I like everything that has to do with art, human sciences and media, specially the new waves and forms to communicate things. I love enjoying a couple of drinks in a great terrace at night or dancing my ass off to a good set of electronic music at a music festival.

As a hobby I used to do oil painting (i sometimes still do it, but i don't have much time now that im very focused on my career as a coach). Also i began to develop a fascination about writing (which i think i do pretty good) and have a personal blog where i am trying to create a safe space for people who faces discrimination around topics like being gay, HIV and other things related.

As i said I work as a life coach and transformational trainer in Mexico City and own my own coaching company and i can call it my hobby. Thats why i wrote it here too; I truly believe that making people conscious about their own limiting beliefs and supporting them to overcome them is a way to build a better world.

As you can see i really enjoy socializing with people, its my motor for everything. Specially those who has something good to add in my life experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

About movies.. i like almost all kinds of them, specially horror and suspense ones (A great fan of the horror genre, so if you know that in you area there is some creepy or mysterious hotspot please let me know of it. I am the kind of guy who gets scared easily jaja but at the same time loves to hear about all the paranormal stuff). Also a big fan of chick flicks and romantic comedies.

Some of my favorites so far are: Stephen's King: It, The Shining, Amélie, Los Amantes del Circulo Polar, Exterminio, The hours, Across the Universe, The Others, Cansada de besar sapos, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Fault in Our Stars, The Ring, The Babadook for saying some

ELECTRONIC MUSIC FAN. It’s mostly the music I listen to. There are only few genres i CAN NOT STAND: salsa, cumbia, bachata, some types of hardcore electronic music and "mexican rancheras" (Yeah, i know, what a disappointment! Sorry but the rhythm in them makes me really anxious).

BOOKS

About books, i declare myself a big fan of those novels who let you find your own way through them, opening up a space to give them a personal meaning, some of my fav authors are: Baricco, Italo Calvino, Amelie Nothomb, José Saramago.

I also enjoy mystery books, spiritual and suspense novels.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well i think that depends on the individual experience with every surfer! but i can assure you that we are going to have a great time together. From a very interesting and meaningful talk, to a fun party night, a great walk around the city or even enjoy together a mexican style meal

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can definitely share my good humor and long meaningful chats about almost everything! Adding it up to sharing the Mexican culture abroad, maybe bringing you something from local or even sharing some mexican dish with you (if im surfing with you i will love to do it, you will just need to show me where to find the right ingredients. Cuz you know what they say if its not the right ingredient then it is not local!).

I can assure you that we are going to have a great time! i will love to include you in whatever activity i have, as long as you have the time of course and discover the city together.
