ABOUT US

We are a young couple in love of nature, of traveling and of meeting new people and cultures. Ezequiel's an architect by profession and a ski instructor by calling, he enjoys sailing and scuba diving a lot too! Estefania's a psychologist specialized in children, she is always eager to learn new things and to get to know new places and people. She loves cycling and reading, and finding out interesting facts about the cultures that she is getting to know.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Estefania made a trip to Europe in 2014, and thought that it would be a great idea to start surfing, to get a different feeling about the places, the people and their culture. It has been an awesome experience! Once back in Argentina and living together with Ezequiel, we started hosting people too, we decided to give something back to the community by hosting travellers.

It's very important that you take the time to read our profile, to get to know us and our life a little bit before sending us a couch request.. I have to say that we don't accept surfers who don't know the real sense of couchsurfing. Couchsurfing it's not just about finding a place to crash... :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our couchsurfing experience has been great so far! Estefania stayed with great hosts in Europe and met a lot of awesome people couchsurfing. We think that when people are travelling, they open themselves up a little bit more, and that's when the magic happens: great conversations, moments, situations... life's memories!

Interessi

We find cultures and societies as something very interesting. We love getting to know new people and talking about matters of life in general and in particular, or just hanging out and having a good time.
We love travelling, We think culture exchange is something extraordinary, and with that comes food exchange... We love trying new food and making other people try my countries' food!

Musica, film e libri

We love listening to Indie and Rock&Pop music. Some of our favourite bands and singers are Beirut, The Magic Numbers, Glen Hansard, The Pixies, Zero 7, Joy Division, The Smiths, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Interpol, Regina Spektor, Moby, Little Joy, The Beatles, etc!

Favorite movies: Fight Club, American Beauty, Almost Famous, Into The wild, El Laberinto del Fauno, Magnolia, Once, Requiem for a dream.
When it comes to books, We adore science fiction, I read a bunch of Ray Bradbury's and Stehen King's books. I also like Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's books. Milan Kundera's The Unbearable Lightness of Being is one of my favourite books in the world. I enjoy reading Isabel Allende's novels.

Estefania:
- Watching the sunset in Viña del Mar, Chile.
- Walking in San Telmo, Buenos Aires, during the night.
- Flying over La Coordillera de los Andes.
- Trekking in the jungle in Ilha Grande, Brazil.
- Dancing around the little streets in Montmartre, Paris (during night time :) )
- Driving Nª1 highway from LA to San Francisco, having the sea by my side during the entire trip.
- Visiting the Holocaust Museum in Berlin.
- Crossing the Alphs by train.
- Sailing to Uruguay.
