Mi nombre real es Estefania, pero todos me llaman Fani, suena como "funny" en inglés, que significa divertido, por lo que siempre tengo que escuchar la misma broma cuando conozco a alguien nuevo, Fani eres tan funny. Pero me encanta, porque de verás creo que soy una persona divertida.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Estoy en Couchsurfing, en una primera fase fue por pobre, para que negarlo, pero luego resulto que me enamoré de viajar de esta forma. Me di cuenta que con el tiempo de mis viajes recordaba a las personas mejor que a los lugares y monumentos. Por lo que empecé a viajar conociendo personas, y a través de las personas conocía los lugares.

//I'm in Couchsurfing, in a first moment, it was because I'm poor, I don't want to lie, but later I fell in love of this way of travelling. I discoverded that with time, I remembered my trips by people no by places. So I started to travel meeting people and knowing places by people.

Interests

Me encantan los helados, de chocolate especialmente, y la sandía, amo la sandía, quiero tatuarme una sandía. Un buen plan es pasear por mi Valpo, comprarme un helado de chocolate, y sentarme en una escalera solitaria a esperar el atardecer con un buen libro, acompañada de uno de los miles de perros porteños que acompañan mis días.

/I love ice-creams, specially chocolate, and watermelon, I really love watermelon, I want to tattooing a watermelon. A good plan is a walk around my Valpo, buying a chocolate ice-cream, sitting down in a lonely stair, to wait the sun goes down with a book, coupled by a dog.

I try to open my mind, I don't like saying "I prefer Indie, or Rock, or Pop" I prefer to search new bands, new songs, new singers.

If I have to choose, music, movies or books, I chose music, although I love them.

Movies, one's of my favorite is Irma la Douce, is a 1963 romantic comedy starring Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine, I love Amelie and Chocolat, It's a wonderful life is the most wonderful film, I like Woody Allen, Pocahontas is the movie of my childhood, and of course, Thelma and Louise...

Books, I have "The little prince" in different languages, because a close friend told me that it's my book. My favorite book is "La historia del rey transparente" Rosa Montero, "The transparent king history". I love this writer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Creo que lo más alucinante que he hecho a día de hoy, es tratar cada día de ser feliz, aunque parezca tópico, es alucinante, pues aprendes a valorar cada insignificante momento, todo empieza a medirse con un nuevo reglamento.

Y resulta que funciona, pues todos los días lo consigo.
