Hello I'm Estel!

I'm a product designer and I currently work as a freelance. I love my job but I don't have a lot of time for me... Maybe I should work less...? ;)

It's been only few years since I've discovered how amazing travelling is and I don't want to stop, how quickly you get addicted to it! Now, I have a long list of "must go".

I think I'm an easygoing person, I like everyone feeling comfortable and breath good vibes. Don't worry if I speak too loud: I love discussing, I hate arguing. And feel free to ask me to quiet down :DDD

I am a courious girl, I like listening to people and how they talk about their daily life, maybe it's a routine for them but it can be very interesting for me! Just different kind of living sounds amazing, and I know I can always learn from others.

Chatting with friends, seeing live music, travelling, meeting new people, trying new food... things that I love!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered Couchsurfing 3 years ago, in my first long trip (2 months trip, for me this is really long, I know some of you travel for longer, how lucky you are!). It was a great great great experience for me!! A kind Chinese boy hosted us and I couldn't belive how nice the experience of sharing (home, time, culture...) could be!

From then on, I've couchsurfed several times and think it's the best way to know a place and its people and culture. For sure, my memories of places where I have couchsurfed are stronger than others: people leave an unforgettable mark.

I would like to offer the same.

Interests

- Design: what I like the most from my job is everything related to 3D designing.
- I prefer eating than cooking, but I can be a good kitchen helper.
- Cheese is Love.
- I love wine and beer, but getting drunk is history now.
- Friends are the most precious thing in this world. We say "a friend is a tresure", and I completely agree.
- I love chatting with people. I love listening to people.
- I like hiking but don't hurry me ;) don't worry, you won't have to wait for me, let's meet on the peak!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Become a freelance (just to leave a bad company behind)
Travel for 2 months around Southeast Asian (when I had only traveled for 15 days max, 1 time)
Visit a Postosí mine (despite feeling I couldn't do it)
Go to Ban Mauk, Myanmar (following some traveller tips, and without knowing if we could get there)
Snorkeling in the Red Sea (after more than 15 years without practising it)
