Hi!
My name is Ester and I’m a positive 26 years old student from Sweden. I’m currently living in Jakarta, Indonesia, where I’m conducting an internship. So far I really love it here, and I hope to explore more of the country and region during my time here.

I previously have been studying organisational psychology and since the spring of 2021 I’ve been continuing with developmental studies. I love to travel, to meet new people & cultures, and make memories together with others.

I’d say that I’m an open-minded and easygoing person. I really enjoy a good conversation, getting inspired by people I meet during my travelings but as well to share parts of my own cultural background.

I hope to meet new people, get new impressions, learning from others, make new friends, to experience new cultures here, get to know my hosts and their experiences, but as well hang out and have a great time. I look forward to meeting you!

Intereses

Hiking, running or just being active, being with friends, meeting new people, traveling, walking with my dog, reading, listening to music, going to museums, being out in the nature, having good conversations, baking, inviting people over to dinner, cooking, architecture, dancing, being creative, learning new things are some of the things I enjoy to do.

I’m also very interested in different Asian cultures since living there, everything from food, music, art, movies, people, etc. Cooking kimchi or mochi at home, watching Asian movies, reading literature, and understanding more about their religions and architecture are some things to mention.

Música, películas y libros

I’m happy to listen to all kind of music, but am mostly into Indie, I listen to a lot of classical as well while reading and studying. And my favourite books are probably Elena Ferrantes series, A little life by Hanya Yanagihara and Kazuo Ishiguro’s & Orwell’s books among others.

- Living a half year in South Korea, solo backpacking and hiking
- Living 3 months in India, conducting research in the countryside
- Hiking two weeks in North of Sweden, without internet and connection
- Meeting amazing, extremely kind and interesting people during my travelings, enjoying time together and getting inspired by each other. ❤️

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Sharing my background (which is both Swedish and Hungarian), my experiences, but as well to just listen, have quality time and get inspired. I look forward to cook dinner or just enjoy a cup of tea together in the evening or do something together during the day if you want as well!:)
