ABOUT ME

Hello everyone!
We are an Icelandic couple currently living on the road, 29 and 31 years old. We just finished our studies (in chemistry and physics) and are taking a "gap year" in Latin America.
Although it's fun to meet other backpackers in hostels and party with them we also want to meet locals and learn a bit more about the culture and the country we're staying in.

We've lived in Copenhagen, Denmark for the last couple of years, which was really nice. We have also lived in Japan (Nonni) and Canada for a short period (Ester), and travelled a bit to E-Asia, which we loved.
We love eating good food, and we try to eat as much local food as we can when travelling. Ester is a vegetarian (with the exception of fish and chicken) but Nonni isn't a huge fan of veggies. An odd mix.

In general, we like meeting out friends for coffee or beers, playing boardgames, going to the movies, bouldering/climbing and taking it easy. We try to be open-minded so if you want to introduce us to something new we'll probably be up for trying it!

We hope to be able to host fun and interesting people, and in return stay with fun and interesting people during our travels!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted a few people and surfed twice, and our experience has been very good so far.
