Overview
About Me
Hiya! I'm Estera, an active, friendly, warm and an open-minded individual who thrives of new connections and sights.
Travelling, camping and the thrive of feeling free are few of the main things that motivates me to get up in the morning. The weirder the idea - the more likely I will want to do it. Unconventional could be my 2nd name! I also adore a challenge and a goal-orientated task, so if you have anything in mind and need a companion for it - hello!
Besides travelling, camping and being active, finding quirky craft bars and trying sour beers as well as Bloody Mary cocktails is one of the things that excites me as well! Also, a I am a fan of a good techno underground party where I could let all of my muscles and energy loose to be able to emerge into music and people's energy around me.
I am also a natural 'hobby-collector', so I could write an essay about it! Stick and poke tattooing, cycling, constant house re-organizing, thrifting, cooking (especially Asian cuisine), shooting with film camera - those are just a few!
LGBTQ+ member and supporter.
I value honesty, authenticity (especially authentic connections), community and simplicity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
WHY?
I thrive off creating meaningful connections and communities around me, travelling, exploring, meeting new people, exchanging experiences and learning about different cultures. So, in my eyes, a platform as Couchsurfing is like a blessing! Ability to connect with so many human beings all around the world makes living way mor exciting and colourful in many ways.
HOSTING
Since the age of 18, whilst still at school, I've showed around my hometown Vilnius for few travellers and loved everything second of it!
Unfortunately, I've never hosted as I never had my own place; however, once I do, I would love to create a space where people would feel warm, welcome and would have the chance to create invaluable memories together.
Interests
- hiking
- camping
- sports

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - depends on my mood, but anything really, except heavy metal (I listen to alternative metal though, fan of SOAD!). At the moment really into Afro-beats, minimal techno and Latina!
Movies - plenty, but my favourite ones are those which makes my brain all twisted and are NOT shown in cinemas and instead in small, independent movie theatres!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing is subjective, but personally for me, living in a campervan in the UK for 7 months during autumn/winter whilst working and studying at the same time was quite spectacular and life-changing for me.
I have way more that comes to my mind, but I am keeping it for myself, so I have what to share once we meet!
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn
As a 'hobby-collector' and possibly ADHD'er (to be soon confirmed or not) I would be happy to learn almost anything as new things excite me loads!
Share
Travel experiences (sneak peek: I've lived with a family in rural village in Georgia (an actual country, not the state)).
My unconventional (for most) views on relationships
Positive and friendly energy, amateur cooking tips
Teach
How to cook a delightful pasta dish and brownie which all of my friends adore.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My quirky energy, positiveness, a hug-like pasta meal and a pint of good beer! Or, if you are feeling adventurous, I could adorn you with a stick and poke tattoo!
