Overview
About Me
I am a sporty, outdoorsy person who likes to get her hands dirty. I have done a lot of travelling, both for pleasure and for work, and that's not going to stop anytime soon.
I feel like I have always lived my life, but haven't quite dared to make any crazy plunges or commitments for fear of failure. It might be the fact that I'm turning 30 this year, or just that I'm a bit older and care a bit less, or just that I'm trying to figure out if my life is as good as it gets. I would love to be happy in friendships, daily life, work and love. So far I have managed 2 of those 4 - and although the first two of them are great and I can't complain, I need to figure out if there. You only have one life and I need to push myself as hard as I can to make the most of it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I never know what to say. I work on my moods.
Movies - love nightmare before christmas. huge tim burton and johnny depp combo fan.
music - I'm up for anything new! Generally i like rock, but i also love jazz if the situation permits it
Books - i read too many and forget. Tale of Murasaki, catcher in the rye, lord of the rings come to mind...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm HUGE on diving. I love it - and have convinced many people to do it. But please do it responsibly - be very aware that you're in an extremely threatened habitat so don't go breaking coral.
I volunteered in Japan just after the tsunami, cleaning up mud. Working with people out there who have just lost everything but are still trying to give you something is so very moving.
And there's something about being in a rainforest that i find enchanting.
Teach, Learn, Share
Mmm.... Don't be afraid to do things by yourself. It may get a bit lonely sometimes but it's a great way to meet locals! That's all i have so far.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have spent the last 4 years working for the BBC making natural history programmes. For any wildlife lovers out there... I can share :)
