About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to make a better world, together with friends of all possible nationalities :)

ABOUT ME

I'm an enthusiastic person, I love life and world and the people, I love nature and would like to preserve it for the future generations. I'm very sad when I can't find the same colors in the sea, that I remembered from my youth, or the same kinds of animals and plants, because pollution has destroied them. To preserve the environment, and particularly the water, is part of my job, and is something I truly care for, because we are part of the nature, and I really like it.

I'm a very curious person, I like everything is new for me -actually, since I have a terrible memory, sometimes things appear new to me, and then my sister says "Ester, you already know that!!!" :).

Particularly, I like knowing people, listening about their life, staying with friends, visiting new places, playing sport, particularly running. I have no car and go by bike all day. I love music (from classical to modern), walking and dancing hip hop (even if I dance quite bad), watching comedies and going to the theater especially to see ballets...

Things I don't like much: to sit too many hours in front of a PC (thing which I do every day because of my job), too loud musik, cigarettes, smoke, places with too much traffic and air pollution, too dirty places (also because I'm allergic to dust :).

I'm not crazy for alcoolic drinks, but I like Passoa, and generally, the sweet ones :). Unfortunately (because the Italian wine is worldwide famous), I'm not an expert of wine at all. Instead, I like eating, and I eat almost everything.

Last thing: I'm not a so simple person, I'm a bit complicated...but maybe is typical of women? :) but I'm very open and friendly

PHILOSOPHY

You can do everything, if it is not bad for the other people, and for the future generations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by meeting people of CS. I met in CS great friends, and very nice and interesting people...some of them, I miss, because we leave is different cities and countries and the time to see each other is not much! For example, I miss people I met in Rovigo in february 2011: we had too much fun together :).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Bellissssimaaaaaa!!!!
Novembre 2010: Malta with my sister Eletta. Wonderful to meet people there, and to stay with them as I knew them from ever.
Dicembre 2010: pre-Christmas party
Genuary 2010: birthday party in Abano terme, nice party
February 2011:
- great Dolomeeting organized by Tiziano, beautiful landscape and participants
- Rovigo, exposition "'800 gentile" wonderful paintings and...people!!!
- Carnival at Venezia...too much caos at the end, but I enjoyed a lot my French friends

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: comedies, hystorical movies (not fantasy, not much musicals...unless they are at the theater)
Music: from classical to modern, I really like concerts of orchestra but also pop music (I like melodies, but also the rythm of percussions). I don't understand much Jazz music, if the melody is not easily recognizable
Books: I'm a "devourer" of novels

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh, I'm a very funny person. And I'm not quiet at all. Rafting along the river Brenta is however maybe the most particular sport experience I did...but I cannot list all funny things I did...I will do other funny things, soon (tomorrow? :))
