About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finishing my studies and deciding what to do later. :-P

ABOUT ME

My friends say I'm open minded, easy going and laugh a lot (sometimes a little bit too loud :-P). I love to meet new people and exchange stories about where we traveled and dream about new places to see and adventures to have had!
I can be pretty talkative, but I also need some quiet-time sometimes, especially after some busy days.

PHILOSOPHY

Turn your face to the sun and the shadows will fall behind you

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I couldn't offer a couch to anybody but I hope that'll change after finishing my studies. During my travels I met great people through couchsurfing and I hope to get some more opportunities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Did CS in Canada, Germany and Colombian and had great experiences! I got to know so many awesome like-minded people!

Interests

In my free time I love to spend time with my friends and my family, just meeting at home or go to a pub for a beer or coffee or so, depending on the mood. I'm not really planning everything very far in advance, I'm a rather spontaneous person.
I also like singing in a choir, reading books and watching TV-series and movies, but I almost never watch a movie alone, it's more fun with friends.
Well, no surprise, I love travelling and hiking, there's nothing better than discovering a new place where you're so content that your heart almost hurts and you're speechless because of all the beauty around.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
There are many types of music I like. I listen to the radio but I also like Rock and Heavy Metal.
Update after 6 months of living in Colombia: I also looooove Reggaeton, Salsa, ..... , everything you'll hear on the street, in bars or wherever... :-)

Movies / TV shows:
Bones, Criminal Minds, The Mentalist, Sherlock, Castle, The Big Lebowski, Life of Brian, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, R.E.D., Big Fish, Pride & Predudice, Meet Joe Black, The Secret Garden, ...
Jeje here I got to love movies on Disney Channel, awesome for learning Spanish!

Books:
I like to read books with local stories (e.g. I read a book about a story in Scotland when I went there) and fantasy books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was the best decision of my life to go to Canada in 2012/2013 for a year and travel from the west coast to the east coast and back. Before that I never thought it would be so easy to organize everything and that traveling by yourself can be so much fun! I met so many amazing people from all over the world and couchsurfing was a part of it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn about different countries and different ways of traveling or volunteer work. And I am always happy to get some help with speaking Spanish. :)
Teaching? I can teach you some German. Or I teach you how to grow tomatoes. Or how to knit a scarf and socks. Or maybe we can cook or bake together? I love it but it's so much more fun together.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Northern Ireland, Poland, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
