I’m a 23 year old who just quit her stable job as an engineering trainee to go explore Europe. It was not the time and place to settle down and I couldn’t travel as much as I wanted. So I spent some time with my family and now I’m throwing myself into the world. I’m finally building the life I want!
I do plan on settling down eventually though.

About my childhood and why I said I came from “traveling”: my dad used to move a lot for work, so by the time I was 14 I had lived in 4 countries. I don’t feel like any of their cultures represent me well enough. I feel Brazilian at heart, but in some aspects I am much more European or Asian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m looking for a way of traveling without spending too much money (I would rather spend it on tickets or some other experience) so I’m hoping I can find an alternative to hostels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very eclectic music taste and I love listening to local music. However, my favorites when I’m home go from bossa nova to Zhu to some jazz rap.
I don’t like horror movies and I’m not a huge movies fan. I’d much rather watch a documentary or YouTube.
I used to read a lot when I was a kid, but now I haven’t been reading that much. The last two books I read were “how to win friends and influence people” and “the Albuquerque axioms”.
