About Me

Hi,
Just in short. I love to listen music, make music, sing music and dance to music! Sports (football in particular) and music are one of my greatest passions but apart from that learning (and studying) about Latin America's history, politics and environmental conflicts is something I have been passionate about my whole life. In the last couple of years I have been expanding my knowledge of agroecology, in theory and practice. Living with numerous farmers and traditional communities in Latin America to learn from them and share experiences. My father is Argentinian and my mother Spanish, so Spanish is my mother language even though I'm Dutch. Oh and I like to make people laugh.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz, blues, rhythm and blues, afro-beat, highlife, forro, chorinho, samba, bossa, folklore (argentinian, brazilian, Peruan, Bolivian, Colombian), salsa, cumbia, porro, vallenato, funk, soul, deep-house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Danced salsa at the official Salsodromo parade in Cali, and cought an Aratu (kind of crap) in the Mangroves with one of the best fisherwomen of northern Bahia, Brazil

Teach, Learn, Share

I thought English for some months in Cambodia, and I think I could share my knowledge on agroecological practices, compost making, low cost irrigation systems etc. For the rest I think I teach some Latin American Politics and History, Boogie woogie on the piano, some folklore music on the guitar, futball, Salsa, Samba, Forro, Bachata and some more latin dances.
