About Me

Hi
Was born in Haiti but been living in NY for most of my life. Now live in Brooklyn/ NYC.
Looking to explore the world around me. Like to have fun, go out, dance, see the sights and have an adventure. I also like go to another country to do nothing.
Hope to explore the countries already on my list!
I can't cook but I help, but I've been cleaning dishes all my life. I've come to like it actually. I'm clean and respectful.
Trying to do more outdoorsy things like hiking because i love to explore nature.
Hope to learn to scuba dive one day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Thought it'd be easier/ more fun to live with someone who knows the place they live in and meet new people. I'm travelling solo so you'll be an instant friend or acquaintance if you're open to it. But I also know how to entertain myself
I hear about awesome experiences others have had couch surfing instead of hotels or hostels especially when you're solo. I get to meet new and great people who are different than me and once I get my own private place I'll definetly host.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've been reading books that are supposed to change how I view life. Last one was Tuesdays with Morrie, philosophical books.
poetry
science fiction/ murder mysteries
histories and biographies
political books
-----
Hip hop, rap, R& B, pop, jazz, haitian music, blues, rock, alternative, reggae, spanish & french music, I listen to a lot of different music. Billie Holiday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on the back of a motorcycle going up a mountain, it was going fast. It's a normal thing in Haiti but I could see the edge where we could easily fall off. I had to try to keep looking straight ahead. It was fun and scary.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know if you want to learn anything from me. I kind of suck at teaching. But I know how to swim and draw. I could share stories of how I'm accident prone and I thought I was cursed for years. I do love to learn something new from about others . I could teach you Haitian creole, I don't know that many curse words in it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a friendly person.
Love to swim, explore nature, dance, go to parties, or even go out doors
I'm easy to impress
Clean- I will not ruin your home, considerate- I will be very thankful for what you can offer me and make an effort to show you my gratitude and will respect the guidelines of your home
Thank you!
